Camera Remote for Hero - Control Your GoPro Camera Over Wifi
Camera Remote for Hero is a free Android application developed by M-Apps, which allows you to control your GoPro Hero cameras over Wifi. With this app, you can easily change camera settings such as resolution, protune, frame rate, shutter time, exposure compensation, white balance, GPS, volume, audio, and microphone. You can also capture exposure series for HDR photos by defining night/day mode, ISO limits, and white balance for each image. Moreover, the app provides a scripting tool that lets you create your own scripts via a drag and drop interface without requiring any coding skills.
The Camera Remote for Hero app automatically connects to the camera's Wifi network and provides live video and audio previews. You can also activate the camera video stream and view it in other applications like VLC and ffmpeg. Additionally, the app allows you to download media such as photos, videos, and RAW files over Wifi. You can manage multiple cameras with this app, but it is not possible to control multiple cameras at the same time because each GoPro creates its own Wifi network.
